I would like to say what a fantastic time I have had with my first East Coast Singer/Songwriter Series. With Christina Martin, Erin Costelo, Rose Cousins and Catherine MacLellan, I could not go wrong. It has proven an overwhelming success and I would like to take this opportunity to thank a small group of people that helped make it so. Lorraine and John Webster of Webster Galleries for allowing me to present the series in their amazing venue. To Doug Frey, Mr. Genius sound guy, who brought out the best of these wonderful artists , Christine Bovaird, my East Coast spy, who visits home each Summer, returning with stacks of listening, for my research and Carolyn for lending her bartending skills, adding a special touch to the evening.

I have finally completed Alba Artists' 2011-2012 Season, more of a West meets East Coast Series which will include three Alberta and three East Coast artists, so please look to the concert page for details and to buy tickets.

As a special event, I am excited to work with The Calgary Folk Festival, to present Steve Dawson's Mississippi Sheiks Tribute Project.
